Misprinted copies can be encountered in circulation as part of the misprinted run had already been delivered before the error was discovered, and certain comic book stores chose to keep the misprinted copies and sell them as variants instead of sending them back. Movie Prequel #1 was also reprinted in Transformers: Movie Prequel Free Comic Book Day Edition (2007).
